C. Jason Smith

C. Jason Smith (aka “Christian”) provides a wide range of civil litigation, intellectual property and business transaction services.  He is versed in a variety of legal fields such as trademark, copyright, trade secret, employment, construction, real estate, entertainment, elder abuse, securities, legal malpractice, breach of contract, entity formation and various other areas involving commercial disputes and transactions. 

Jason was born in the Bay Area, but spent most of his childhood and young adult life in a small rural town in northern Sonoma County.  He had a blue collar upbringing and has held a job since the age of 12.  Jason was the first in his family to graduate from college and fully funded his own education at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he initially explored a career in sports journalism and graduated with honors and awards in June 2002.  While in Santa Barbara Jason’s interest in the law manifested following volunteer work for California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc. – a non-profit program that provides free legal service to California’s rural poor.        

In August 2002, Jason returned to northern California to attend the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and graduated in the top segment of his class with a concentration in intellectual property in May 2005.  While in law school, Jason volunteered for the California State University-Sacramento Academic Talent Search Program, where he assisted children in mock trials. He also worked for a Sacramento personal injury firm before serving as a law clerk at Radoslovich | Krogh, PC Attorneys, where he has been an associate since November 2005. 

Since 2006, Jason has had an integral role in recovering over $20,000,000 in funds and assets for the firm’s clients.  In fact, he has obtained numerous favorable results (both in and out of court) whether plaintiff or defense.  In the first quarter of 2010 alone, Jason obtained a $1.08 million arbitration award against motion picture distributor Think Film, negotiated the recovery of millions in assets regarding a financial abuse of an elder action, and assisted several other clients in diverting $100,000’s in liability regarding wrongful termination, conversion, breach of contract and various other claims.     

In the little free time he has, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, attending sporting events and playing recreational softball and basketball.
