John C. Whidden practices civil litigation, including real estate, employment law, and business disputes. He also handles a variety of transactional and corporate matters.
John was born and grew up on the Pacific in a small suburb of Los Angeles. As a fan of the coastal area, he willingly attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where he obtained degrees in political science and Spanish in 2000. He spent his senior year studying in Madrid, Spain and still cherishes those memories. Prior to attending law school, John worked for a law firm where he observed the day-to-day life of an attorney.
Thus inspired, he attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. During his final year, John worked as a certified law clerk in the misdemeanor unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of California, gaining courtroom and trial experience. After graduation in 2005, John cut his teeth at a well-known insurance defense firm, where he gained valuable litigation skills. He then entered into real estate law working with developers, contractors and homeowners associations in both transactional and litigation matters. John joined Radoslovich | Krogh, PC Attorneys in 2009 to return to his passion for litigation.
John has successfully assisted clients in prosecuting and defending employment law claims and business disputes in excess of seven figures. He also obtained an $18.2 million restitution order for the “Spanish Fire” that burned over 6,000 acres in Mendocino County on behalf of the U.S Attorney’s Office and U.S. Forest Service. He thoroughly enjoys civil litigation practice because it allows him to focus on obtaining the most favorable results for clients in times of frustration and anxiety.
John resides in Midtown Sacramento. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, playing musical instruments, and speaking Spanish.
