John was born and grew up in a small suburb of Los Angeles on the coast. As a fan of the coastal area, he willingly attended the University of California Santa Barbara where he obtained degrees in Political Science and Spanish in 2000. During his senior year he studied his final year in Madrid, Spain and still cherishes those memories.
After graduation he worked for a law firm where he observed the day to day life of an attorney. He then attended the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law. During his final year he worked as a certified law clerk in the misdemeanor unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of California, gaining courtroom and trial experience. After graduation in 2005, he cut his teeth at a well known insurance defense firm where he gained valuable litigation skills. He then entered into real estate law working with developers, contractors and homeowners associations in both transactional and litigation matters. He joined the firm in 2009 to return to his passion for litigation. John thoroughly enjoys the civil litigation practice because it allows him to focus on obtaining the most favorable results for clients in times of frustration and anxiety.
In his free time John enjoys cooking, creating recipes and all aspects of gastronomy. He also enjoys playing music and speaking Spanish. John resides in the Sacramento midtown area. |
